Listening to: Katamari Damacy (Naaaaa na na na na na naaa na)
Mood: Wednesday... -_-

Bloggage! That thing I do when I remember I have a blog!

I actually wrote this blog entry on Friday but neglected to post it until now, mainly because I really wanted to write the end of the entry in Dr. Seuss poetry and couldn't get my brain to co-operate.

I really shouldn't love Dr. Seuss as much as I do.

I never used to like him, and I'm still not a huge fan of "The Cat in the Hat" or "Green Eggs and Ham", but *dude*, "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish" and "Fox in Socks" are so much fun to read! It's even better when it's impossible to say because then the kids listening are just hanging on, *waiting* for you to make a mistake.

Also, who could fail to be moved by this heartrending tale:

Who am I?
My name is Ned.
I do not like
my little bed.

This is no good.
This is not right.
My feet stick out
of bed all night.

And when I pull them in,
Oh dear!
My head sticks out of bed
up here!

Not only is Ned suffering an existential crisis, but he has to put up with a bed that is too short. Poor Ned.

Okay, while I am on a roll, here is the bloggage I did on the plane as I was heading back to the UK at the end of July. Seems a shame to let it go to waste.

Mwhahaha! I am possibly the closest it is possible to come to bliss when one is on a 12 hour turbulent flight!
a) I have an entire row of seats to myself.
b) This place has Magic-III meaning I can start a movie whenever I like without waiting for it to come round.
c) One of the movies is Firewall. OH HECK YES. Paul Bettany being evil and Harrison Ford? What could possibly be wrong with that? You have no idea of the levels of glee it inspired in me to see Firewall listed as one of the movies.
Or maybe you can if you're Katy, since she heard me lamenting missing it in the cinema...

Anyway yes. I'm on my way atm and I don't *think* I've forgotten anything important. (OMG Chloe from 24 is in Firewall!) Of course I'll remember what it is (and another dude from 24! wow!) when I get home and it's much too late.

Oh dear, so not convinced by Harrison Ford's grasp of technobabble. Never mind. Paul Bettany will be along soon. (and there he is! Whoo!)

The obligatory party didn't turn out to be too bad. It was in fact not a wedding party, but a fake wedding.... apparently her ladyship decided that Koga getting married secretly was something that she wasn't going to stand for and so she made P the G marry them in front of us.

Head honcho wasn't there, so i didn't spend the whole time in mortal terror, but we had a lesser problem to contend with in the form of the granddaughter who took it upon herself to humiliate people without any prompting. Luckily I escaped.
